Is there an easy refreshing lemonade recipe that is also healthy? The answer is a resounding YES! For most of us, our experience with lemonade has historically included a glass full of a sugar-packed beverage that refreshed but was terribly unhealthy. My friends, lemonade doesn’t need to give you a sugar rush. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to pour in the sugar to produce a great glass of lemonade. By pouring in the sugar, you mask the wonderfully natural taste of lemons. Why even bother calling it lemonade, if the dominant ingredient ends up being sugar? In that case, I suppose we would call it sugarade?
Spoiler alert: This recipe is different. Indeed, this super easy healthy lemonade recipe calls for only natural lemons and requires absolutely NO granulated sugar. That’s right, no more pouring in the teeth-rotting garbage. Instead, you’ll use natural honey as a simple sweetener after juicing the lemons.
The first thing you’ll notice about this lemonade is how light and refreshing it feels. Because you’re only using natural ingredients, including natural honey as a sweetener, your body has a way of immediately communicating its gratitude for your healthy choice. It’s more of a feeling than a taste. Try it, and you’ll know what I’m talking about 🙂
