For the avid gardeners out there, you’ll love this recipe for tasty grilled squash! Of all the fresh vegetables raised in the backyard garden or available at the supermarket, squash is certainly one of the best. Rich in Vitamin C, squash is great at helping to repair our cell’s tissues. Additionally, squash is high in fiber, magnesium, calcium, and Vitam A. In fact, squash is such a healthy item, WebMD has an article devoted entirely to the healthy benefits of squash. In addition to the healthy attributes already mentioned in this article, WebMD points out that squash is super helpful for eye health. Who knew! And my personal favorite is the fact that apparently, squash helps reduce the risk of depression. This is because it is rich in Vitamin B6. So, if you’re not sold on this incredible veggie then I don’t know what else to tell ya’! It really is a superfood, and it’s super tasty. Requiring just a few yellow squashes, salt and pepper, garlic powder, and a bit of butter, this recipe is so stinking easy that even kids love making it.
